Worst experience ever

My wife came to The Metro Central Apartment around 4PM o'clock. Apartment was not cleaned: dirty towels, trash on the kitchen: everything was pointed out for presence of the past guests. Person, who was giving the keys waited for my family for 1 hour, but was not able to be prepared for a visit. I was in other city and called owner and ask him to organize cleaning asap. He promised me that he could manage it. After few hours some lady appeared on the flat: she put dirty plates to the cupboard, fold up dirty towels and dirty bed linen. After that she said "Bye" and dissipated. My wife called to the owner representative, who gave the key earlier, right after lady left the apartment and tried to find understanding that such behavior is not acceptable and flat should be cleaned before guest arrival, in our terms as soon as possible. He replied to my wife "f@ck off and leave him alone" and "why she is calling so late" he will "throw out them [my family] from the flat if she will call once again" and make my wife shocked during 20 minutes talk.. I asked owner to manage cleaning asap second time. Next morning two ladies appeared in the apartment and cleaned it. That was not quite good, my wife came to the market bought gloves and cleaning staff to run the bathroom because unknown hairs were still attached in different parts of the bathroom, but lets say it was cleaner. Later this day, owner met my wife and gave her partly refund. The whole experience I could call worst host management ever. This premise couldn't have such great rating as 9.0: many parts are broken: toilet seat, shower door, dirty curtains, dirty towels, 1m big stain on the sofa, nonfunctional lightning, badly equipped kitchen: 1 glass for wine, 1 glass for water, 1 for beer and two shoots. We are positive travelers and know that secret of good traveling is take everything easy, but this time it was to much.

Cheap,comfortable, enjoyable

The location was amazing and the size of the apartment was really good

The heating was a problem in one bedroom and the blinds wouldn’t come down in the other bedroom

Very nice, conformatable and well situated place with luxurios feel.

Very spacious apartment in an old charming building, with everything you may need even for extended stay.

Only thing we would have liked to see was dishwashing supplies - for the sink and for the machine, it didn't seem worth it to buy our own for just 4 days.

Very good apartment in all aspects : location and especially...

Very good apartment in all aspects : location and especially staff serviceability. The apartment has high ceiling and very spacious for a family ( 2 adults and 2 kids) There are restaurants around but no disco next door so you could have a good sleep at night. You are able to reach them on the phone at all time. Heating system was down and it has been fixed immediately and Victor was so kind to book us a taxi to the airport at the last minute. Thank you so much!!

It would be great to have a rubbish bin and more tablewares but it didn’t brother us so much.

Nice apartment in central Budapest

Very large central apartment with all necessary facilities. Modern interior and Very nice private balcony. The communication with host upon arrival worked well and he met us there upon arrival. Walking distance to almost everything!

Tell the guests before arrival that they are expected to pay cash, it is not so often We arrive at a foreign country with that much money in cash without warning. Othervise Everything worked well.
